Our Services
Tree service done differently. Rooted in community, with what is best for the customer, property and the trees in mind. Serving the OKC, Moore, Norman metro.
Tree Removal
At Heritage Tree Care, we always choose to preserve and prune when possible. Occasionally, the need arises to remove a tree, whether by the homeowner’s preference, safety, or property beautification. Our capabilities and experience vary widely from small residential removals to large trees requiring heavy machinery and land clearing. No tree is too small nor too large. Our equipment, practices, and effort also lend to minimizing the impact on your yard.
Tree Pruning
If we had to choose a practice to be most passionate about, pruning would be it! Our passion for tree work began while pruning large mature oaks around Norman, Oklahoma. Whether it’s pruning a sapling to provide for proper growth in the future, or climbing into the canopy of an old tree and pruning to extend its life, we approach it all with the utmost care. Pruning trees requires expertise in tree biology, understanding the various stresses a tree undergoes, and how the tree’s health will be affected.
Bolting, Cabling, and Hazard Mitigation
As trees grow older, they often incur decay or wounds that require stabilization. A tree’s health can be preserved and its safety restored through a combination of bolting, cabling, and pruning. We will assess the structure to ensure the tree is a viable candidate and will make a recommendation that will allow the tree to be enjoyed for years to come. Our arborist carries a specific certification for this practice, known as Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), and can provide consulting services related to this.
What is a certified arborist?
An ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certified arborist requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the tree industry or related green industry. The certification process includes an application process, studying the materials, and passing the exam to demonstrate proficiency in knowledge of tree care, anatomy, safe work practices, and various other essential knowledge banks. The certification also requires continuing education hours.
